Alan Jackson is a legend. The dude was around during the George Strait era and still is an all-time great. The prime of his career stretched from the late 1980s all the way through the late 2000s. During this time he had 27 #1 songs and over 65 total singles. He has released 18 albums as well, all which were top 3 on the charts. His career will forever go down as being one of the all-time greatest. If you’ve ever had the pleasure of seeing him life, his shows are true country. He covers his hero’s, like Willie Nelson and Merle Haggard. He talks about growing up in Georgia, moving to Nashville before it was Nashvegas, and struggling to make it in country music. Alan Jackson should be a bucket list concert.
That being said, getting the list down to 10 was impossible. He had many generations of music to pick from, from his early 90s honky-tonk stuff to his later 2000 stuff. All which is great in its own way. I boiled it down to these top 10 picks. Let us know what you think in the comments, what we missed, and here are the top 10!
